Na een intensieve competitie is het Gouweslag 3 gelukt om nog voor de laatste wedstrijd het kampioenschap binnen te halen. Het team heeft na 13 van de 14 wedstrijden genoeg punten gehaald om niet meer ingehaald te kunnen worden door de nummer 2. Met 10 gewonnen wedstrijden, 2 gelijkspellen en maar 1 verlies zijn ze de terechte winnaar van de poule. De spelers die dit jaar voor het eerst als team bijeenkwamen zetten met hun eerste wedstrijd direct de toon door met 8-0 te winnen en de koppositie in de poule te nemen. Deze hebben ze geen enkel moment uit handen gegeven waardoor ze nu kampioen geworden zijn. Van harte gefeliciteerd!
